Julie is the proud co-owner of First Properties of the Carolinas, Inc. She quit a corporate job to start selling real estate when she moved to the Charlotte/ Lake Wylie in 1991. She is our “Jill of all trades”. She does everything - selling homes, setting rental rates for property management, handling company marketing, finances, and other administrative duties. No task is too big or too small. Julie is great at restaging a home for a seller or helping a buyer figure out the best way to use a space. She has an eye for possibilities and is almost finished with her interior design certification.

Julie graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Business. She is married to and works with her husband Kent. They meet back in high school in Goose Creek, South Carolina. They have two adult daughters - Jacqueline and Vanessa who are figuring out their way in the world. Julie is co-chair of the Missions Team and on the Leadership Team at Imagine Church. Her faith and family are very important to her. Julie loves sports especially if it involves her South Carolina Gamecocks. Her tailgates are legendary. She also loves great food, travel, books, and shopping.
