About Karen
If someone had told me 10 years ago that I would have a successful career in Real Estate, I would have told them they were nuts! My friends The Van Slambrooks , who needed help with their growing business , sort of dragged me in. Once I got started, I knew I was where I was supposed to be. Being of service to my clients brings me great joy. During my years as Listing/Closing Manager for our team, I closed more transactions than most agents close during their careers. My extensive knowledge of the Charlotte area has been a valuable asset in my ability to help my clients find just what they are looking for. I have lived in Gastonia, Rock Hill, Lake Wylie, and for the last 14 years SW Charlotte. My children attend local schools. I bring all this knowledge and attention to detail to the table. And to top it off... I absolutely LOVE what I do!
Special Skills / Interests
I was born in Medina, Ohio ...moved to Charlotte at age 5 and have called this area home ever since. My husband Terry and I have 2 awesome daughters, Mallory(18) and Moriah(14) who never cease to amaze us! I was a Girl Scout leader for years and picked up a love for camping and hiking. Aside from spending time with family and friends, I also enjoy working in my yard and taking day trips around the Carolinas... its amazing how many fun spots are just around the corner!
